For Your Pleasure Book Club

All romance.
All sub-genres.
Always a happy ending.

Now gathering
online January 2026

At For Your Pleasure, we gather around romance novels like they're hearth fires—sources of heat, story, and embodiment of our desires.

Here, swooning over fae bargains and morally gray heroes isn't guilty; it's recognizing the gold buried in our fantasies.

This book club is part of my ongoing exploration of romance as threshold medicine—investigating how this genre works like a shared collective dream, offering healing and illuminating paths forward.

Together, we'll be co-investigators discovering why these stories matter.

How Our Online Circle Works

Each month, choose any romance that calls to you—historical swooning, monster loving, small-town charm, whatever makes your reader's heart sing.

The only rule: it has to be romance—love at the center with a happy ending or happy-for-now.

When we gather virtually, we don't just swap plot points. We explore what lit us up: the tropes that delighted, the dynamics that made us think, the scenes that left us breathless.

Together, we discover how these "fluffy" books might be teaching us about desire, boundaries, and the thousand ways love transforms us.

Why Online Works

Sometimes the best conversations happen when we're cozy in our own reading nooks.

Online means readers everywhere can join our circle.

It means sharing thoughts you might not speak aloud.

It means building community across time zones and life schedules.
