Business Cosmology

If you're here, your business probably isn't separate from your soul-work.

It might be your soul-work, wearing a business's clothes.

You're a healer, a maker, a creative, a practitioner of some kind, and the thing you've built (or are building) is less a company than an offspring of your purpose, a way of getting your particular gifts into the world.

Which is also why most business advice has felt slightly wrong in your hands.

It keeps asking you to behave like a different kind of enterprise, to optimize and funnel and position, when what you actually want is to feel like yourself inside your own work. To build something authentic, in alignment, true to whatever called you to make it in the first place.

Here's how I see it. A business like yours is a love story.

Two parties: you, with your sense of purpose and meaning and the particular way you want to give your gifts, and the work itself, which has its own nature, its own desires, its own ideas about where it wants to go.

Most of the strain you feel is the strain of two people in a relationship who haven't quite learned to listen to each other yet.

The work is learning to court it. To meet your business the way you'd meet a beloved, with curiosity about who it actually is, rather than trying to drag it into a shape someone else said would sell.

A business like yours is a love story.

I know this terrain because I got lost in it myself, in the cacophony of shoulds, the marketing ideas and business models I was told were the way it's done.

I didn't even chase most of them. I just carried the constant sense that I ought to be, and that shouldness was enough to untether me from my own desires for my work, especially in the early years.

What the wandering did give me was a real taste of things, what works and what doesn't, for me and for the people I now read for.

That's the ground I read your chart from.

How the three sessions work

We start with the long session, the foundational read, your chart with the business lens applied: the core of you, the elemental weather, the planets in their houses, the patterns describing how your work wants to move.

After the first session, you'll have a working architecture of what the chart is saying, and two or three threads worth following.

The two shorter sessions work those threads, shaped around whatever's actually alive in your business at the time, your voice and visibility, the people you're for, what's asking to change or grow, how you take a stand, how you make room for joy, how you build the structures that hold it all.

We pick up what we found in the first session and follow it down into the texture of how you really work.

By the end, you won't have a marketing plan. You'll have something steadier: the story your chart is telling about your business and what it's asking of you, something to return to as you build, pivot, or grow.

The story within your chart

I read the chart as the story of you: what you came in carrying, what's moving now, and then I read it again with a business lens laid over the top, and the same chart starts telling you what your work wants to be, where it's trying to go, what it needs from you to thrive.

Every part of the chart has something to say.

There's the deep why the whole thing exists at all, the reason you'd build this and not something easier.

There's the way your work meets the people it's for, what it's really there to tend in them.

There's how it speaks, how it reaches out and grows, and the structures that have to hold it up so it doesn't collapse under its own longing.

Read together, all of it, the chart becomes the room where you and your business finally sit down across the table from each other.

Your chart is where I read both of you.

What tends to open up

The lostness lifting.

You stop carrying the low hum of I should be doing more, doing it their way, and you stop feeling quietly incompetent for not wanting to.

You begin to see who your business is actually asking you to become, because a business like this is the growing edge of your own becoming, personal and sometimes spiritual both.

And you get a clear read on your real strengths, so your energy goes where it actually belongs instead of scattering across everything at once.

A business like this is the growing edge of your own becoming.

A note on what this is, and isn’t

This works with your birth chart, the natal story, not election dates or launch timing or whether Mercury's retrograde this Tuesday.

It's archetypal, not predictive: interested in what your work is asking of you, not what the planets have scheduled.

And it isn't marketing strategy. I won't write your tagline or build your funnel.

What I'll do is help you see what your work is actually for and what alignment looks like in your particular case, so that whatever strategy you build later grows from ground that's genuinely yours.

If your business is purely transactional and what you want is sales optimization, this isn't the room for you, and no hard feelings.

And if the real question isn't how the work should grow but whether this is still your work at all, that's less a consultation than a crossing, and crossings live at Threshold Work.

Not quite ready, or have a question first?

The FAQs answer most of what comes up before booking. And if you'd rather just ask me directly, the door's open; send a note and tell me where you are.

And if a session isn't where you are yet, the writing is where this work lives between rooms. It's free, and it arrives like a letter.
